How do you know for sure all the squirrels are gone before sealing the entry?

We use several methods. First, we monitor the one-way door for signs of activity. We also use visual inspections inside the attic and may place monitoring devices like cameras or non-toxic tracking powders near the entry point. We never seal a final entry point until we are 100% certain the structure is vacant.
